Hi festival is a dance music festival that was held in Zasavje, Slovenia in august 2018. The festival included 2 dance music stages and one stage for a local rock/pop music. The festival was visited with about 5000 people over the span of 3 days. Performers included: Skazi, Metodi Hristov, Mike vale, Matroda, Clay Clemens, Marina Karamarko, Secret Disco, Kosta Radman, Calixta, Rook, Naboo, Soundbender, Colonia, Lidija Bašić, Mambo Kings, Prljavo Kazalište, Leteči odred, Orlek and Zablujena Generacija.
This project was for me a big learning curve for me. I have done posters before, but not a whole festival branding. I have worked for this team before so they trusted that I was good pick for the job. We started with a logo re-design, giving it a fresh look with a bit more curve to it and a secret message. The two dots on the top of the “i” were the same shape as the two lakes at the festival ground. I designed a festival map to point out all main areas and a electronic wristband to which you could top up credit and buy drinks with.
